Since being established this firm has worked exclusively with the best Architecture and Engineering firms in the country to restore facades, exterior walls, roofs and foundations of all shapes and sizes.
This company are already known for some high profile projects and after their considerable growth in to 4 new states last year, they are now looking to expand their reach in Texas through the hire of an experienced business developer with a strong network in the commercial construction world.
Responsibilities
- Developing strategic plans and predicting future sales targets and growth.
- Discovering market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other methods.
- Engaging with current and prospective clients to foster positive relationships.
- Collaborating with team members to create sales and marketing strategies.
- Creating financial forecasts and setting sales goals.
- Participating in events like exhibitions and conferences.
- Crafting sales presentations and taking part in sales meetings.
- Generating reports for management review.
- Training and mentoring business developers and sales team members.
- Working either at a client's location or in an office setting.
- Keep a detailed schedule of upcoming projects and their delivery timelines.
- Provide clients with initial budget estimates.
- Assess the required level of budget detail for clients.
- Decide if a project should move to preconstruction or stay in business development.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the construction industry.
- Strong professional connections with Architectural/Engineering firms, design consultants, and infrastructure organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business growth, lead negotiations, and develop strategic partnerships.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster relationships and represent the company with professionalism.
