A prominent engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Agriculture Department. This role involves designing methane digesters for dairy farms, converting waste into renewable energy, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design: Develop methane digesters for dairy farms, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful completion.
  • Client Relations: Provide technical expertise and support to clients, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Quality Control: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality.
  • Collaboration: Work with a team to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of post-licensure experience in civil engineering, focusing on agricultural facilities, wastewater, or methane digester design.
  • Licensure: Licensed Civil Engineer.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Knowledge: Understanding of processing systems and controls related to water/wastewater and methane digesters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with agricultural facilities and sustainable practices.
  • Strong technical knowledge of methane digesters and related systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience and skill level.
  • Benefits: Full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents), company 401(k) contribution, and performance bonuses.
