Civil Engineer, Methane Digesters
A prominent engineering consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Agriculture Department. This role involves designing methane digesters for dairy farms, converting waste into renewable energy, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design: Develop methane digesters for dairy farms, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations.

- Quality Control: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project quality.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of post-licensure experience in civil engineering, focusing on agricultural facilities, wastewater, or methane digester design.
- Licensure: Licensed Civil Engineer.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Knowledge: Understanding of processing systems and controls related to water/wastewater and methane digesters.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with agricultural facilities and sustainable practices.
- Strong technical knowledge of methane digesters and related systems.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $90,000 to $130,000 annually, based on experience and skill level.
