Client Service Leader - Environmental

Position: Environmental Client Service Leader

Location: Any West Coast Office (Washington, Oregon, California)
Salary Range: $150,000 - $280,000 per annum
Additional Compensation: Quarterly/Annual bonus structure and stock and equity

Role Overview

The Environmental Client Service Leader will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and client success for our West Coast operations. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding strategic relationships with governmental organizations - including USACE, EPA, DOD, counties, districts, and state/local agencies - as well as private industry partners. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality environmental services and contribute to the overall success of the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients across federal, state, local, and private sectors.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client needs, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new opportunities within environmental consulting markets.
    • Develop strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Project Oversight & Leadership:

    • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver services including:
      • Environmental site investigation and remediation
      • Multimedia compliance (air quality, stormwater, water, etc.)
      • Solid waste management
      • Natural resource assessments
      • Environmental planning
    • Ensure projects meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
  • Strategic Contribution:

    • Support the development of regional growth plans and contribute to overall business unit success.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in environmental consulting with proven success in client service and business development.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and communication abilities
    • Deep understanding of environmental regulations and compliance
    • Ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Preferred: Existing relationships with governmental agencies and private industry clients on the West Coast.
