Construction Manager PV/BESS (m/w/d)
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Germany. The role will be responsible for managing site activities from pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities, including civil, electrical and mechanical works.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules, costs and site performance.
- Prepare regular progress reports and manage project risks.
- Support tendering and pre-construction activities, providing constructability and delivery input.
- Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale renewable energy, power generation or infrastructure projects.
- Strong EPC and subcontractor management experience.
- Experience managing projects from construction through commissioning and handover.
- Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Full driving licence.
