Position Overview
The firm is seeking a QEWI to step into a Division Leader role, overseeing a growing restoration and façade inspection group. This is a leadership-driven position ideal for someone who thrives on technical excellence, team development, and strategic growth. You'll direct a small team of architects and engineers, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in expanding the division through business development and client relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a dedicated restoration and façade inspection division
Oversee and perform FISP/Local Law 11 inspections, reporting, and project execution
Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff
Direct a small team with the goal of scaling the division over time
Develop and maintain client relationships; support business development initiatives
Review and approve technical reports, drawings, and restoration strategies
Conduct site investigations, condition assessments, and construction administration
Ensure compliance with NYC DOB requirements and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
QEWI certification (active)
10+ years of experience working on restoration and façade projects across NYC
Extensive experience with FISP/LL11 inspections and reporting
Strong leadership background with proven experience mentoring junior staff
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering
Licensed PE or RA
Excellent communication, technical writing, and client-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing or growing a restoration-focused team
Strong network within NYC's building ownership, property management, or AEC community
Background in historic preservation or landmarked building work
