Environmental Project Manager
Our client is looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist to join their growing team in Orange County, and lead environmental remediation projects.
About the Role:
As a project manager, you will manage and execute environmental site assessments, remediation projects, and regulatory compliance efforts. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and work directly with clients and regulators to deliver high-quality, science-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead environmental investigations, feasibility studies, and remediation design and implementation.
- Oversee field programs including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling.
- Prepare technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submittals.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff.
- Support business development through proposal writing and client engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related discipline.
- Professional licensure (PE or PG) preferred or ability to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of federal and California environmental regulations (e.g., DTSC, RWQCB, EPA).
- Excellent technical writing, communication, and project management skills.
