Land Surveyor
A leading civil engineering firm near Green Bay, WI is expanding their team to support growing municipal infrastructure and transportation projects. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fieldwork, problem-solving, and contributing to community-focused projects.
Role Overview
We're seeking a motivated technician with at least 1 year of field experience and a degree in civil engineering or land surveying. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently and using modern survey tools.
Responsibilities
- Collect field data for municipal projects (roads, utilities, stormwater, etc.)
- Perform layout and staking using GPS and robotic total stations
- Document field conditions and manage data transfers
- Collaborate with project teams and maintain client communication
- Travel to job sites; work outdoors in various conditions
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs; walk long distances with equipment
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Surveying
- 1+ year of relevant field experience
- Familiarity with Trimble equipment a plus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
