About the Opportunity
A top-tier, nationally recognized general contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering complex, high-profile projects is seeking a Lead Superintendent to join their Chicago team.
This is a field leadership role where you'll take full ownership of healthcare projects in the $30M-$50M+ range, backed by a strong internal team, consistent project pipeline, and a company culture that prioritizes its people and long-term growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all day-to-day field operations on assigned projects
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors across all trades
- Drive and maintain the project schedule, sequencing, and logistics
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and lead daily safety initiatives
- Maintain quality control (QA/QC) and ensure work meets specifications
- Run daily huddles, subcontractor meetings, and coordination efforts
- Communicate directly with owners, architects, and project teams
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and field changes
Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of construction experience
- 7-12+ years in a Superintendent role
- Proven experience delivering $30M+ ground-up or major renovation projects
- Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- Construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
- Drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
