Overview

We are working with a growing and highly respected engineering firm seeking a Structural Engineer with 3 to 10 years of experience to join their team. This individual will play a key role in the design and delivery of a diverse range of projects including commercial, residential, educational, institutional, and data center facilities. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within a collaborative environment that values both strong engineering fundamentals and professional growth.

Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to the structural design and analysis of buildings across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, education, institutional, and mission critical data centers
* Prepare construction drawings, calculations, and specifications in alignment with applicable building codes and industry standards
* Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and buildable design solutions
* Participate in client meetings, providing clear communication and technical insight throughout the project lifecycle
* Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and address field conditions or design adjustments as needed
* Review RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings to ensure design intent and structural integrity are maintained
* Support project delivery efforts including budgeting, scheduling, and internal coordination
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support the development of junior staff

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* 3 to 10 years of structural design experience within a consulting or engineering environment
* Professional Engineer license or actively working toward licensure
* Experience working across multiple project types, with exposure to data centers or other mission critical facilities strongly preferred
* Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAM, or similar platforms
* Working knowledge of Revit or other BIM tools
* Strong understanding of building codes, load paths, and structural systems across steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
* Clear communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team setting
