Job Summary:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of live events. This role demands a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in event production and stakeholder management. Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of live event strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Translate creative concepts into actionable production plans.
Project Scope & Management
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Create detailed project timelines and manage resources to ensure milestones are met.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage event budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
- Identify cost efficiencies while maintaining production quality.
Team Coordination
- Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, creative, marketing, and technical teams.
- Foster collaboration and ensure clear communication across departments.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues professionally.
Vendor & Supplier Liaison
- Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers across New Jersey and surrounding areas.
- Ensure contracts and services align with project needs and budget constraints.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving
- Anticipate potential challenges and develop contingency plans.
- Troubleshoot issues swiftly to maintain project momentum.
Logistics & Operations
- Oversee all logistical aspects including venue setup, transportation, staffing, and equipment.
- Ensure smooth on-site execution and post-event breakdown.
Technical Support
- Coordinate technical requirements including AV, staging, lighting, and production elements.
- Provide guidance to clients and teams on technical feasibility and solutions.
Event Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, run sheets, and reports.
- Capture lessons learned to inform future projects.
On-Site Management
- Lead on-site teams during event execution, ensuring seamless delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze post-event feedback and performance metrics.
- Recommend improvements to enhance future event production processes.
