About the Role
A mid-level geologist position is currently open for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years of experience. This role offers a dynamic mix of field and office work, supporting senior-level consultants on a variety of environmental projects. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, an effective communicator, and someone who thrives in both independent and team settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, and vapor.
- Assist with environmental due diligence assessments.
- Accurately document field and laboratory data.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
- Develop data tables and spreadsheets for technical analysis.
- Interpret chemical and environmental data.
- Oversee remediation and mitigation activities for soil, groundwater, and vapor.
- Apply knowledge of environmental regulations at the state and federal levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology (required).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations is a plus.
