Job Description:
Our client who is a leading German onshore wind development company seeking a skilled and motivated Onshore Wind Electrical Engineer to join their team in Tokyo, Japan. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of onshore wind projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with electrical power companies to ensure seamless integration of wind energy into the grid.
- Manage transmission line projects, including design, planning, and execution.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Work with substations, including design, installation, and maintenance.
- Understand and apply grid engineering principles to optimize project performance.
- Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for potential project sites.
- Develop and review electrical schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during project development and operation.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in all electrical engineering activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in dealing with electrical power companies.
- Expertise in transmission line projects and permit acquisition.
- Strong knowledge of substation operations and grid engineering.
- Fluent business English and Japanese communication skills
