Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Party Chief to provide support out of the bay area for their Sacramento based team. You'll lead and support a variety of surveying projects including:
- Boundary, topographic, ALTA, utility, and control surveys
- Field data collection using total stations, GPS, 3D scanners, and drone LiDAR
- Collaboration with engineers, architects, developers, and public agencies
- Opportunities to manage your own clients and projects
This role is ideal for a licensed surveyor or a senior technician who wants to remain in the field but is also capable of in office work.
What You'll Do
- Autonomously perform field work in the bay area
- Analyze and process field data
- Draft and prepare deliverables
- Ensure accuracy, safety, and professionalism in all project phases
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in field data collection and processing
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
- Ability to pass background and drug screening (as required by project)
Compensation
💵 $38.00 - $65.00/hour (based on experience, location, and licensing)
⏱️ Overtime eligible
