Survey CAD Technician
Our client is a well-established civil engineering and land surveying firm based in Aurora, Illinois. With decades of experience in land development, municipal infrastructure, and transportation projects, they are known for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across the Midwest. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to support their growing team. This role involves preparing accurate survey drawings and collaborating closely with engineers and field crews to ensure the successful execution of a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and edit survey drawings, plats, and topographic maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Translate field data into precise CAD deliverables.
- Assist in the preparation of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking plans.
- Coordinate with project managers and field staff to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing files.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in CAD drafting, surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
- Familiarity with GPS and total station data processing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
