Physical Security Consultant
Position Overview
The team is seeking a Design Consultant to support a growing portfolio of data center and commercial security projects. This is a production-heavy role requiring strong Revit proficiency and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design low-voltage security systems, including:
- Access control
- CCTV / video surveillance
- Intrusion detection
- Develop fully coordinated Revit models and construction documents
- Support data center projects, including hyperscale environments
- Collaborate with architects, MEP teams, and clients
- Produce detailed drawing packages, including:
- Device layouts
- Riser diagrams
- System schematics
- Assist with redlines, coordination, and as-builts
- Ensure designs meet client standards and industry requirements
Required Qualifications
- Experience in low-voltage / security system design
- Strong knowledge of:
- Access control
- CCTV systems
- Structured cabling integration
- Proficiency in Revit
- Experience producing construction drawing sets
- Experience working on data center or large commercial projects
- Ability to coordinate across disciplines (architectural, MEP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hyperscale or mission-critical data centers
- Healthcare or large commercial project exposure
- RCDD or similar certifications
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and industry standards (TIA, BICSI)
