Director of Power Delivery | Remote
A growing engineering and infrastructure consulting firm is looking to bring on a senior leader to help scale its power delivery practice across the U.S.
This individual will play a key role in shaping the direction of the business - overseeing complex grid and utility projects while building and leading a high-performing team. The position combines technical oversight, operational leadership, and business strategy, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both execution and growth-focused initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding a mix of high-voltage infrastructure efforts - including transmission, substations, distribution, and grid modernization work
- Acting as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring successful project delivery and long-term partnerships
- Leading a growing group of engineers, project leaders, and technical specialists, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and team development
- Helping shape internal processes around delivery, staffing, and quality to support continued expansion
- Collaborating with leadership on market strategy, hiring plans, and revenue growth initiatives
- Identifying new project opportunities and supporting pursuits within utilities and infrastructure markets
- Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while balancing multiple priorities across teams and regions
- Extensive experience within electric utility or power infrastructure environments
- Background spanning areas such as transmission, substations, distribution, or grid-related engineering
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex project portfolios
- Strong client engagement experience and a commercial mindset
- Engineering degree required; professional licensure is a plus
- Experience working with utilities, developers, or large infrastructure owners is highly valued
