Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate plumbing estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
- Attend bid review meetings and collaborate with project management and operations teams
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and scope clarifications
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and industry partners
Requirements
- 3+ years of plumbing estimating experience
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and construction practices
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience preparing competitive bid packages and conceptual budgets
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
