Principal Engineer/Geologist
A leading environmental consulting firm with a strong presence in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant to lead complex site assessment and remediation projects. This role is ideal for a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) with a passion for solving environmental challenges and mentoring technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as technical lead on complex environmental investigation and remediation projects, including Phase I/II ESAs, Brownfields, and hazardous waste site cleanups.
Oversee the development of work plans, feasibility studies, risk assessments, and remediation strategies in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., DTSC, RWQCB, EPA).
Manage client relationships, project budgets, and staff to ensure high-quality, on-time, and within-budget project delivery.
Provide mentorship and guidance to mid-level and junior staff.
Support business development, proposal writing, and client presentations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or related field.
Active California PE or PG license required.
Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience, with demonstrated success managing site assessment and remediation projects.
Strong knowledge of California regulatory frameworks and agency interactions.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and client engagements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Salary Range:
$155,000 - $185,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
