Product Line Manager - Restoration
Overview:
A leading global manufacturer of construction materials is seeking a Product Line Manager to oversee the strategic direction, development, and performance of its Construction and Restoration Systems product portfolio. This includes managing a range of products such as concrete repair mortars, construction grouts, epoxies, sealants, joint fillers, and waterproofing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Development
- Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify innovation opportunities.
- Collaborate with R&D to develop and enhance products that meet customer needs and comply with industry standards.
- Establish product specifications and performance benchmarks in coordination with technical teams.
Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept to phase-out.
- Maintain product roadmaps and prioritize features based on market demand and strategic objectives.
- Monitor product performance and profitability, making data-driven decisions for optimization.
- Develop pricing strategies and manage product positioning to drive growth.
Marketing & Sales Enablement
- Partner with marketing to create compelling campaigns, sales tools, and promotional materials.
- Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure effective product representation.
- Engage with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and foster relationships.
Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage budgets, including sales forecasts and revenue targets.
- Analyze financial data to inform strategic decisions and ensure profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure product availability and quality.
- Coordinate with regulatory and compliance teams to meet industry standards and certifications.

Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience managing product lines in construction, restoration, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
- Proven experience in external sales and product commercialization.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
