Overview:
A leading environmental engineering firm specializing in water-focused infrastructure is seeking a Mid-Level Project Engineer to join its Industrial Private Sector team. This firm delivers innovative solutions for the planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, stormwater, and water reuse systems. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to sustainable water infrastructure projects while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and technically driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design site components for water and wastewater facilities including yard piping, paving, grading, and stormwater systems
Conduct site visits, fieldwork, and prepare reports and cost estimates
Develop civil engineering plans and specifications
Support permitting and submittal processes with government agencies
Coordinate work with multidisciplinary teams and sub-consultants
Participate in pilot testing, condition assessments, and alternatives analysis
Qualifications:
B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred)
5-10 years of relevant experience
PE license (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Experience with water/wastewater infrastructure
Compensation:
$75,000 - $125,000 annually (based on experience, location, and qualifications)
