Construction Project Manager (Consultant) - Healthcare Facility
A leading global capital program advisory and management firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (Consultant) to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a new healthcare facility in Post Falls, Idaho.
This role requires a proven leader with deep experience in healthcare construction, strong stakeholder coordination skills, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and healthcare stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with the organization's operational and strategic goals
Construction Oversight
- Monitor construction activity for compliance with design, codes, and healthcare regulations
- Conduct site inspections and progress reviews
- Identify and resolve issues proactively to protect project outcomes
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate communication among healthcare providers, executives, contractors, and design teams
- Present project updates, reports, and recommendations
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure compliance with healthcare construction standards (e.g., infection control, ADA, patient safety)
- Lead risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and regulatory approvals
Budget & Cost Control
- Track expenditures, manage change orders, and forecast costs
- Recommend value‑engineering opportunities to optimize delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years' experience in construction project management
- 5+ years specifically in healthcare facility construction
- Proven success delivering complex healthcare projects
- Strong understanding of MEP and low‑voltage systems in healthcare
- Knowledge of commissioning, transition planning, and first‑patient readiness
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, codes, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Project, Procore, Primavera, or similar tools
Preferred Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- CCM (Certified Construction Manager)
- CHC (Certified Healthcare Constructor)
Working Hours
Full‑time, standard working hours, on‑site at the new healthcare facility in Post Falls, Idaho.
