The Role

Our client is recruiting an accomplished Project Manager with proven HVAC Controls expertise to take ownership of the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, technology‑driven projects. This is a pivotal role responsible for guiding projects from initial concept and kickoff through to commissioning, handover, and final close‑out, ensuring exceptional outcomes for both clients and internal stakeholders.

As Project Manager, you will play a central role in translating technical and commercial requirements into fully executed solutions. You will lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, resource coordination, execution, performance tracking, and continuous improvement, while maintaining alignment with strategic objectives, contractual obligations, and customer expectations.

You will work in close partnership with engineering teams, field technicians, contractors, and suppliers, acting as the primary point of coordination to keep projects progressing smoothly. This opportunity is ideally suited to a proactive, highly organised professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, performance‑led environment and brings a deep understanding of the building automation and HVAC controls landscape.

With a strong emphasis on communication, accountability, and quality, this role offers the chance to have meaningful impact across high‑value projects while contributing to a culture of operational excellence and delivery confidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple HVAC controls projects simultaneously, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are achieved.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams including internal engineers, site personnel, external contractors, vendors, and commissioning partners.
  • Proactively identify technical, financial, and scheduling risks, implementing clear mitigation strategies to minimise project disruption.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, delivering transparent, consistent, and professional communication throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Track performance against key metrics, controlling scope and change while ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned, supporting process enhancements, and promoting accountability across all project phases.
