Project Manager- Transmission
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead high voltage transmission projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of electrical infrastructure, particularly in the realm of transmission systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex schedules, budgets, and stakeholder relationships while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of high voltage transmission projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare and submit project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in high voltage transmission or utility-scale electrical projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of transmission systems, substations, and related infrastructure.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
