Project Manager- Underground Utilities
A leading underground utility contractor in the DFW area is looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager to support continued growth across their North Texas operations. Our client is a well established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex wet utility infrastructure projects and maintaining long term relationships with municipalities and developers.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of multiple projects while working alongside a highly experienced leadership team and field staff. The position is highly visible within the organization and plays a key role in driving project delivery and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle of underground utility projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project documentation
- Coordinate closely with superintendents and field teams to ensure successful execution
- Maintain client relationships and support ongoing business development efforts
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met across all projects
Project scope:
- Water, sewer, and storm drain installations
- Large-scale municipal infrastructure and site development work
- Projects throughout the DFW metroplex with a strong backlog of secured work
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing underground utility or heavy civil projects
- Strong understanding of wet utility construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with field and office teams
- Experience working in the Texas market is strongly preferred
