Overview:
The Regional Exterior Restoration Lead is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of exterior restoration, waterproofing, façade repair, and building envelope projects across multiple markets served by two industry‑leading organizations. The role ensures high‑quality execution, safety compliance, workforce coordination, and strong customer relationships across a region that includes commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
This position supports two entities:

A premier national provider of exterior building maintenance, restoration, waterproofing, fall protection, and window cleaning services with thousands of completed projects and a coast‑to‑coast presence & A specialized exterior restoration subsidiary known for high‑rise work, masonry and concrete restoration, scaffolding/rigging, roofing, and historic preservation across the New York area.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership & Operational Oversight

  • Lead and coordinate all exterior restoration operations within the assigned geographic region, ensuring alignment with organizational standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Oversee project execution involving façade restoration, waterproofing, window cleaning, concrete repair, roofing, masonry restoration, metal cladding, and fall protection compliance.
  • Ensure proper deployment and maintenance of specialized equipment such as suspended scaffolds, rigging systems, pipe staging, and high‑pressure cleaning equipment.

Project Management & Technical Guidance

  • Manage multiple simultaneous restoration projects, including high‑rise and large‑scale building envelope assignments.
  • Provide technical guidance on repair types, restoration sequencing, long-term performance methods, and structural considerations.
  • Conduct site assessments, oversee condition reports, and coordinate Local Law 11 inspections where applicable.
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and local codes.

Team Leadership & Workforce Development

  • Lead a regional team of field technicians, foremen, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Cultivate a strong safety culture across all operations, in alignment with organizational commitments to industry‑leading safety practices.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, technical training, and mentoring of restoration and field personnel.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the regional point of contact for key clients, property managers, building owners, and engineering partners.
  • Manage client expectations regarding timelines, cost, quality, and logistical feasibility, particularly for complex urban projects involving high‑rise access or occupied buildings.
  • Uphold the partnership‑driven approach prioritized by both organizations, emphasizing trust, accountability, and minimal disruption to building operations.

Business Growth & Regional Strategy

  • Support the expansion of restoration and waterproofing services, including integration of newly acquired regional operations.
  • Identify new market opportunities and service needs across commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional sectors.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape regional strategies, operational efficiencies, and long‑term growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 7-12 years of experience in exterior restoration, façade repair, waterproofing, roofing, or building envelope management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi‑project teams across multiple locations or regions.
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding, rigging, masonry systems, structural concrete work, and high‑rise access logistics.
  • Proven ability to navigate regulatory requirements such as Local Law 11 (NYC), OSHA standards, and building code compliance.
  • Strong communication, client‑facing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the regional market as needed.
