The Role

They are seeking a Senior Associate-level Structural Engineer to lead and grow our Florida office. This is an impactful leadership role for someone ready to be the face of the firm in the region, driving strategy, cultivating client relationships, and guiding technical excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility, a passion for mentorship, and the ability to make confident decisions that shape the future of the office and its projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Florida office's operations, strategy, and growth.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and regional representative.
  • Oversee structural design and project delivery across multiple sectors.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and project teams.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Contribute to business development and proposal efforts.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and professional organisations.

Key Qualifications

  • PE license in Florida required; SE license is a plus.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering; M.S in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of structural engineering experience, New design preferred.
  • Proven leadership in project and team management.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Experience with commercial, institutional, or mixed-use buildings.
  • Familiarity with Florida building codes and market is a plus.
