Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in plant engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within industrial plants. This role requires a deep understanding of plant operations, electrical safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for industrial plants.
  • Conduct detailed electrical engineering analyses and feasibility studies.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues within plant operations.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, process engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize plant performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
  • Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Provide technical support and training to plant personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering or industrial electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience in energy management and optimization.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems and integration.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques and tools.
