Senior Electrical Engineer
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in plant engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within industrial plants. This role requires a deep understanding of plant operations, electrical safety standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for industrial plants.
- Conduct detailed electrical engineering analyses and feasibility studies.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues within plant operations.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, process engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize plant performance.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Provide technical support and training to plant personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering or industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in energy management and optimization.
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems and integration.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques and tools.
