Electrical Engineer II and III

Overview:
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II and III to join a collaborative team focused on delivering innovative substation projects that enhance power system reliability and efficiency. This role offers hybrid flexibility, competitive compensation, and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and specify protection and control systems for substations, including relays, metering, and control equipment.
  • Develop one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform fault analysis, relay settings, and protection coordination studies.
  • Maintain and update system fault models; monitor equipment condition.
  • Ensure compliance with ANSI, IEEE, NESC, NEC, and NERC standards.
  • Prepare equipment specifications and purchase requisitions.
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and member utilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in power systems or substation engineering.
  • Knowledge of protective relaying, metering, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
