Senior Interior Designer - Hospitality

About the Role
Our client, a well‑established design firm with a strong presence in the hospitality and entertainment sector, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their Las Vegas studio. This role will focus on high‑profile hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, casinos, restaurants, lounges, and entertainment venues, both locally and nationally.
The ideal candidate brings a strong design vision, technical fluency, and the ability to lead projects from concept through completion while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the interior design development of hospitality projects from concept design through construction administration
- Create and present design concepts, mood boards, FF&E palettes, space plans, and 3D visuals
- Oversee preparation of construction documents, specifications, and consultant coordination
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, operators, brand representatives, and consultants
- Mentor and guide junior designers and production staff
- Coordinate FF&E selections, custom furniture development, and vendor interactions
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and conduct site visits to ensure design intent is met
- Manage schedules and assist with budgeting and project resourcing
- Stay current with hospitality trends, materials, and brand standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (required)
- 8+ years of professional interior design experience, with a strong focus on hospitality
- Proven experience working on hotel, resort, casino, or food & beverage projects
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating concept development through execution
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); SketchUp or similar 3D tools a plus
- Solid knowledge of building codes, ADA, and hospitality brand standards
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client‑facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
