Senior Manager - Valuation & Litigation Services.

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Valuation Senior Manager to join their Litigation Support team. This role involves leading complex valuation engagements in the context of disputes, regulatory investigations, and litigation proceedings. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial modeling, economic damages analysis, and expert witness preparation, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to legal teams, courts, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage valuation engagements related to commercial disputes, shareholder litigation, bankruptcy, intellectual property, and regulatory matters.
  • Develop and review complex financial models to assess damages, lost profits, business interruption, and asset valuations.
  • Prepare expert reports and support expert witnesses in deposition and trial settings.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, forensic accountants, economists, and industry specialists to deliver defensible valuation analyses.
  • Conduct industry and market research to support valuation assumptions and methodologies.
  • Present findings to clients, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal writing, client pitches, and relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as ASA, CFA, CPA, or ABV highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in valuation, litigation support, or forensic accounting.
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies.
  • Experience with litigation processes, including discovery, deposition, and trial preparation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to disputes involving private equity, real estate, intellectual property, or complex financial instruments.
  • Experience working with law firms, regulatory bodies, or expert witness teams.
  • Familiarity with valuation standards and guidelines.
