Our client, a Chicago-based industry leader with over 50 years of success, is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with top professionals, and grow into a leadership role within a respected organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), City of Chicago, and various counties across the state of Illinois
- Work on projects involving interstate routes, interchanges, arterial routes, local roads, among others
- Oversee and mentor junior design staff
- Manage client relations and expectations throughout the project life cycle
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science (B.S) in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of transportation design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois
- Software proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), and AutoCAD
