Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and licensure
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead complex environmental projects across New Jersey and the surrounding region. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in environmental remediation, site assessments, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise, exceptional writing skills, and a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Oversee environmental remediation projects from investigation through closure
Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation
Serve as a technical lead and mentor for junior staff
Interface with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Support business development efforts and contribute to strategic growth initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field
7+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting or engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) strongly preferred
Demonstrated expertise in environmental remediation and site investigation
Strong knowledge of NJDEP regulations and permitting processes
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Proven project management and leadership capabilities
