Key Responsibilities
- Manage planning, design, permitting, and construction support for complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams delivering conveyance systems, pumping facilities, treatment plants, and residuals/biosolids projects.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and delivery strategies for large, multi‑year programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, expectations, and technical coordination.
- Oversee project financial performance, risk management, and quality control throughout delivery.
- Provide high‑level technical oversight and contribute to planning studies, technical reports, and design reviews.
- Support business development efforts, including proposals, strategic pursuits, and alternative delivery opportunities.
- Mentor and develop junior staff and future project managers.
- Remain active in the water/wastewater industry through professional organizations, conferences, and emerging technology awareness.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (engineering degree preferred).
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure project management.
- Project Management certification (PMP, CCM, DBIA) or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Experience managing water/wastewater design or program delivery in North Carolina strongly preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and alternative project delivery experience are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required based on project needs.
