We're looking for a Senior Substation Estimator to support a growing portfolio of high-voltage substation and transmission projects across the U.S. 🌎⚡
This is a great opportunity to join a team delivering critical grid infrastructure, partnering with major utilities, and playing a key role in project success from concept to execution.
🔧 What You'll Do:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for substation construction (greenfield, expansions, upgrades)
- Review drawings, specs, and RFPs to build accurate scopes and takeoffs
- Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and procurement teams
- Evaluate labor, material, and subcontractor pricing
- Support bid strategy, risk analysis, and value engineering
✅ What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of estimating experience, with a focus on substations or power infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage components (transformers, breakers, grounding, etc.)
- Understanding of construction methods, productivity, and cost drivers
- Experience working on utility or EPC-style projects
- Proficiency with estimating tools + Microsoft Office
