A well-established environmental consulting and engineering firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to join its Seattle-based team. This is a key leadership role focused on delivering innovative, sustainable water resource solutions across the Pacific Northwest.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage water resources projects from planning and design through construction and completion.
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, analysis, and simulations.
- Develop and implement sustainable water management strategies.
- Provide technical expertise in stormwater management, flood control, water quality, and watershed planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources engineering.
- Proficiency in modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, and FLO-2D.
- Strong knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Design/AutoCAD skills are a plus.
- Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and technical expertise.
Range: $110,000 - $160,000 annually
