Senior/Engineer (Electrical)
Position Summary
As a member of the Instrument, Control, and Electrical (ICE) team, this role supports both Operations and Project teams at the LNG Terminal. The primary responsibility is to uphold the technical integrity of the terminal's electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee maintenance activities and reliability enhancements for electrical systems, particularly in the Gas Engine Generator (GEG) area.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and reliability programs to ensure consistent and effective upkeep of electrical equipment.
- Plan and execute small-scale capital expenditure (CAPEX) electrical projects in line with company standards.
- Analyze failures or malfunctions in electrical systems, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external parties, including regulatory agencies, on electrical-related matters.
- Provide electrical and operational support for major expansion projects.
- Collaborate with Licensed Electrical Workers to ensure the integrity and compliance of electrical systems.
- Participate in emergency response efforts and may be assigned specific roles during such events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance or design within oil, petrochemical, or power generation sectors.
- Solid technical knowledge of high-voltage electrical power systems.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
