Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Department Lead to guide and grow the structural engineering team. This is a strategic leadership role for a seasoned engineer who excels in technical delivery, team mentorship, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the structural engineering department, managing personnel, workload, and technical standards.
  • Oversee structural design and analysis for industrial and commercial facilities.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Engage with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure alignment and quality.
  • Support proposal development and contribute to business growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety protocols.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of industrial structural systems and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and CAD tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $150,000 - $185,000
