Summary
The Superintendent oversees all field operations, including coordinating the work of subcontractors. This role is responsible for all project-related field activities, ensuring full implementation of the Safety/Zero Harm program, and supervising all field construction, both subcontracted and self-performed. The Superintendent works closely with the project manager to develop the project budget, participate in the preconstruction phase, and ensure the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company policies and procedures. The position also includes managing and mentoring assistant superintendents and other field staff.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5-10 years of corrections and/or large commercial construction field experience
- Five years of direct supervisory experience managing staff and subcontractors
- Proficiency with personal computers and common communication tools, including email, internet, and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Experience with scheduling software (P6 preferred)
- Ability to develop and maintain site logistics plans

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering
