About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join a global leader in mission-critical data center consulting and commissioning. This role involves overseeing test script development and testing of complex electrical infrastructure systems for hyperscale and enterprise-level facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning support across the full lifecycle of critical facilities
- Participate in MEP design reviews and testing (static/dynamic)
- Work with live components and three-phase AC/DC power systems (HV/MV/LV)
- Develop and execute functional performance test scripts
- Interpret design specifications and interact with contractors
- Prepare reports: field observations, punch lists, compliance checks
- Familiarity with safety standards, local regulations, and technical standards
Technical Expertise:
- Power systems: HV/MV/LV, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS
- Electrical protection schemes and modern power conversion systems
- Control systems: EPMS, SCADA, PLC
- Load bank calculations and grounding systems
- Communication protocols: BACNET, Modbus, Ethernet
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 4+ years in electrical commissioning or similar role
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills
- Experience in large-scale industrial/commercial electrical systems
