We are looking for a Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on federal construction projects across the United States. This role focuses on security infrastructure, border-related projects, and upgrades at sensitive government facilities, often in remote or controlled environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout
- Manage subcontractors performing specialized scopes, including security systems and infrastructure installations
- Drive schedule adherence while maintaining strict compliance with federal standards and site requirements
- Enforce safety protocols, quality control processes, and site-specific security procedures
- Coordinate with federal representatives, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Manage logistics and execution in remote, high-security, or logistically complex locations
- Ensure proper installation and coordination of systems such as access control, monitoring, screening, and force protection elements
Project Experience May Include
- Land Port of Entry upgrades along U.S. borders
- Deployment of vehicle, truck, and rail inspection systems
- Security infrastructure installations and facility upgrades at federal sites
- Renovation work at military installations and government facilities
- Force protection scopes such as fencing, blast-resistant upgrades, and surveillance systems
- Work in remote environments including desert, coastal, and restricted-access locations
Qualifications
- Experience as a Superintendent on federal or technically complex construction projects
- Strong field leadership and subcontractor coordination skills
- Familiarity with federal project environments (USACE, DoD, DHS, or similar)
- Understanding of safety, quality control, and compliance requirements on government projects
- Ability to travel full-time and manage projects in varying locations
