Water Treatment Project Engineer
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join their team in Victorville, CA, specializing in the construction of water treatment plants. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting project execution, ensuring technical accuracy, and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of water treatment plant construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and design teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical support on-site as needed.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working on the construction of water treatment plants.
- Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment processes and construction practices.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or project management software is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
