Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the planning, design, and delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment, biosolids, and odor control projects.
- Lead and review engineering designs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct site visits and technical studies to align designs with field conditions and client expectations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Support business development by preparing technical content for proposals and participating in client meetings and interviews.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and technical symposia to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
- May supervise and manage project teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment design and project delivery.
- Willingness to travel domestically as needed (approximately 10%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
- Experience with various project delivery methods (e.g., design-build, design-bid-build, CMAR).
- Proven track record of successful client engagement and project leadership.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
