Overview of the Position
The Enterprise AI / Cloud Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing large-scale AI / Cloud solutions that align with business goals across the organization. This position involves working closely with the client's business leaders, IT teams, and data professionals to create scalable, efficient, and effective AI strategies and solutions that drive digital transformation.
This role sits within the Pre-Sales team in Singapore and will assist in a wide range of tasks in the sales team, including:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture design and implementation of enterprise-level AI / Cloud solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current systems, and define an AI strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Assist clients in developing roadmaps for AI adoption and implementation, ensuring alignment with overall enterprise architecture.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate AI technologies, tools, and platforms, ensuring interoperability with existing enterprise systems.
- Guide cross-functional teams in the development, deployment, and scaling of AI models and applications.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure adherence to best practices in AI governance and compliance.
- Act as a thought leader in AI technologies, providing insights on trends, methodologies, and advancements in the field.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate teams on AI capabilities and implementation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating discussions on data management, AI ethics, and sustainability.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an AI and Cloud Solution Architect or in a similar enterprise architecture role focusing on AI and machine learning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including in sales contexts.
Core Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, GPUaaS principles, AI/ML principles, frameworks, and algorithms, as well as data processing and analytics.
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP - particularly GPU-related services (e.g., AWS EC2 P4/P5, GCP A100/T4, Azure NC/ND series).
- Expertise in Virtualization & Containerization: GPU virtualization, container technologies and orchestration, container scheduling, and GPU resource allocation.
- Knowledge in High Performance Computing (HPC), parallel computing paradigms (CUDA, OpenCL, MPI).
- Familiarity with ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) if applicable.
- Understanding GPU workloads: training, inference, video rendering, simulations.
- Expertise in storage and networking, including design for high-speed storage and I/O performance, and high-bandwidth networking (InfiniBand, RDMA, 10/40/100GbE) for low-latency data transfer, network segmentation, security, and interconnects between GPU nodes.
