Are you ready to take your carbon expertise out of the office and into the field? We're looking for a Carbon Project Manager who thrives on rolling up their sleeves and delivering real, measurable outcomes on the ground to join our client.
This is a rare opportunity to join a purpose-driven team working at the intersection of carbon, land management, and environmental regeneration. You'll play a key role in delivering high-integrity carbon projects across Australia, with a strong focus on technical implementation, compliance, and site-based work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of carbon projects, from feasibility and registration to implementation and reporting.
- Conduct regular site visits (approx. once a month) to work directly with landholders, assess project progress, and ensure compliance.
- Interpret and apply carbon policy, methodologies, and legislation at a detailed, operational level.
- Collaborate with internal specialists and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet both environmental and commercial goals.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements with precision and accountability.
What We're Looking For
- 5-12 years of experience in carbon project development, environmental consulting, or land management.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian carbon policy, legislation, and methodologies (e.g., ACCU Scheme, ERF).
- Hands-on experience with fieldwork, landholder engagement, and technical project delivery.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to remote and regional project sites.
- Qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
