Position Overview
As the Director of Transmission Engineering, you will oversee, develop, and coordinate transmission related activities. You will lead a team of engineers and technical specialists, ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and scalability of transmission systems while aligning with regulatory standards and business goals. Responsible for managing the design from conception through construction and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering design and development of transmission systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for system upgrades, expansions, and new projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with various power delivery projects.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for engineering projects.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Represent the company in industry forums, regulatory meetings, and stakeholder engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in transmission engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep knowledge in the development, design, engineering, and construction of high voltage transmission lines.
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects and leading technical teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
