About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join a prominent Iowa-based electric company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Efficiency: Ensure the efficient operation of plant systems and equipment, with a focus on transformers, breakers, and generators.
- Maintenance: Oversee and perform maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure reliability of critical components.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to plant equipment and systems, particularly transformers, breakers, and generators.
- Project Management: Plan and manage engineering projects aimed at improving plant operations and enhancing the performance of key electrical components.
- Compliance: Ensure all plant operations comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in plant engineering or a related field, with specific knowledge of transformers, breakers, and generators.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plant systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures, especially for transformers, breakers, and generators.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
