Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our Alpharetta office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of exciting projects while working in a collaborative and supportive team environment. You'll be responsible for the design and coordination of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and layout of electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings.
Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and lighting calculations.
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders.
Conduct site visits and field surveys to verify existing conditions.
Assist in the development of project schedules and budgets.
Stay current with industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IBC, etc.).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
2-6 years of relevant experience in building electrical systems design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with lighting and power calculation tools is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
EIT certification preferred; PE license not required.
