Job Title: Environmental Assistant Branch Manager (Principal-Level)
Location: Preferred - Tampa, FL | Open to other Florida locations

Position Overview:

My client is seeking a seasoned environmental professional to serve as an Environmental Assistant Branch Manager with a Principal-level designation. This leadership role will support the Branch Manager in overseeing the entire Florida Environmental group, providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and operational leadership across the state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior leader and technical authority within the Florida Environmental group, with a focus on Assessment & Remediation services.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to manage personnel, project delivery, client relationships, and business development efforts across Florida.
  • Act as a final signatory on environmental reports and deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project managers, field staff, and junior professionals.
  • Support strategic planning and resource allocation across multiple offices and project teams.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, with a focus on expanding the environmental footprint in Florida.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of environmental consulting experience, with demonstrated authority as a final signatory on technical documents.
  • Strong background in Assessment & Remediation; experience with site investigations, remediation design, and regulatory compliance.
  • Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred; other relevant certifications (e.g., PE) are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Florida-specific environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client management skills.

Location Preferences:

  • Preferred location: Tampa, FL.
  • Candidates from other Florida regions will be considered, with a strong preference for those already familiar with Florida's regulatory landscape.
