We're working with a leading technology provider seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver repair and preventative maintenance for process and laboratory analytical equipment. This role combines technical expertise with customer service and offers significant travel across NSW and interstate.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you'll be the face of our service operations, delivering high-quality repair and preventative maintenance. You'll work independently and collaboratively, ensuring customers receive exceptional support and reliable instrumentation performance.

This role involves extensive travel across New South Wales and interstate, offering a dynamic work environment that blends office-based tasks with field service activities. You'll engage with a variety of industries, from municipal water treatment to industrial process control, making every day unique and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance using ISO-standard work instructions.
  • Collaborate with service and sales teams to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients.
  • Promote service agreements and equipment upgrades.
  • Accurately determine billing within established frameworks.
  • Submit timely service reports affecting billing, inventory, and instrument history.
  • Support team objectives and contribute to regional service excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • Trade certificate or minimum 5 years' experience in instrumentation or process control systems.
  • Restricted or Full Electrical License (preferred).
  • Proven ability in diagnostics, PM, and repair of core and extended product lines.
  • Experience in a commercial service role with performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
