About the Role:
We're looking for a visionary GIS Director to lead a high-performing team of geospatial professionals. This is your chance to shape the future of Location Intelligence in a company that values innovation, collaboration, and employee ownership.
You'll oversee the delivery of cutting-edge GIS solutions across diverse asset types and business lines. If you're a strategic thinker, a people-first leader, and passionate about geospatial technology-this is the role for you.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and mentor a talented GIS team, ensuring top-tier deliverables and professional development.
- Manage GIS production workflows and deliverables for high-value consulting projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop and implement Location Intelligence strategies.
- Oversee project prioritization and resource allocation in a fast-paced environment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on GIS tools, data, and best practices.
- Coordinate large-scale national projects and corporate accounts.
- Champion Location Intelligence platforms and educate stakeholders on their capabilities.
- Partner with leadership to recruit, onboard, and develop top GIS talent.
- Recommend improvements to GIS applications and internal processes.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of GIS experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Experience in site selection for retail, industrial, or commercial real estate is a plus.
- GISP certification or similar credentials preferred, but not required
- Mastery of ArcGIS Pro and related extensions (Business Analyst, 3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Model Builder).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Alteryx, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Budget management and business analysis experience.
